A 6th Generation Texan living most of his life in the DFW Area, Damon has excelled in the Real Estate & Mortgage Lending Business right after Graduating from Texas State University is May of 2000, with a Bachelor in Business Administration.
After Graduating from Texas State University, Mr. Taylor became a Licensed Texas Real Estate Agent, and worked as a buyer’s Agent for Re/Max DFW Associates for 3 years. He then decided to expand his career & knowledge & took on the California Market, where he also obtained his California Real Estate License. Soon after that, he was introduced to the Mortgage side of the industry. He worked under a High Volume Producing California Mortgage Broker, as a Processor, diligently studying the many aspects of underwriting & Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Guidelines. After apprenticing for a year under his mentor, he was hired on as Sales Manager/Loan Originator for one of the biggest Loan Origination Companies in California, and was in Charge of 26 Loan Officer’s and was still consistently the #1 Producer at this company for 3 Years.
Aching to move back to Texas and start a family, Mr. Taylor took it to the next level & obtained his Texas Mortgage Broker’s License & started his own Mortgage company, Tailored Financial, Inc. He successfully owned and operated Tailored Financial, Inc. managing and overseeing all operations of the business for several years, until he decided to Merged with Executive Home Mortgage Co. Ltd.
